Our class celebrated the Star Spangled Banner today. We have been studying the history of the banner- song and flag- for several weeks. Today’s celebration and singing of the Star Spangled Banner were special because we are a new choir– our Highschool is trying to get a chorus program back into the school and we have started with this group of students. We are meeting in the computer lab ( thus the table and screen you see) and are adapting as needed to be able to sing. The great website and lessons that the https://starspangledmusic.org/ have made our learning for the last few weeks a great experience. Thru all of the videos and learning guides these student that started with only a few knowing all of the words can now confidently sing the Star Spangled banner. Happy #200th!!
